To make the most of the 2 week opportunity we have in Sri Lanka, get involved in the organizing of the program! Also, perhaps you are not in a position to volunteer in Sri Lanka this summer, but we would love to have your input and help in organizing the program. Please see “Plan of Action for March”, and email me (Anenta@slinks.org.uk) letting me know what you’d like to get involved with!

***Since this is the first year SLinks is sending groups of student volunteers to Sri Lanka, and we want to make sure that all volunteers going out have all the support they may need, SLinks is limiting the number of volunteers going to Sri Lanka this summer. SLinks will inform applicants by 14 April 2006 as to whether the SLinks program can accommodate them, and will return the £20 deposit to unsuccessful applicants. Successful volunteers will have the £20 deposit returned to them when they have submitted a project report on their return from Sri Lanka.
